Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ananatuba Marajoara (ranked 3322 p4p, 4044 weight class) and Anigav Rennid (ranked 434 p4p, 531 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Ananatuba Marajoara has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Ananatuba Marajoara seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 8 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Anigav Rennid!
The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Bart Greer and Santiago Holmes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marajoara pushes Rennid up against the cage in a clinch.
Marajoara gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
It looks like Anigav Rennid has been cut.
Rennid is trying to break the clinch but Marajoara has him pressed against the cage.
I was talking to Marajoara's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Marajoara creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Marajoara goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
A body shot lands from Marajoara.
Marajoara lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Rennid backwards.
Rennid wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Marajoara is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Marajoara lands an elbow inside that Rennid shrugs off.
Marajoara can't get the takedown.
Marajoara misses with a hook to the ribs.
Marajoara gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

That has opened up Anigav Rennid's cut even more.

Marajoara has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Rennid after a bit of a struggle.

Marajoara has Rennid pressed against the cage, preventing Rennid from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Marajoara looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Rennid with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Marajoara perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Marajoara is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Rennid has managed to free his arm - good work.
Marajoara is figuring out what he wants to do next.

Anigav Rennid's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Rennid really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Marajoara. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
