Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Gary Cutlass!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, The Don!
The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Seu Braga and Felipe Paraventi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cutlass throws a series of punches but Don avoids them all with ease.
Don fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Cutlass on the side of the head.
Don doesn't manage to clinch there - Cutlass circles away.
Cutlass with a jab.
Cutlass changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Don tries to avoid it but Cutlass manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Don to the ground. Don escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Cutlass avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Don scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Cutlass is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Don thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Don tries to stand and escape but Cutlass actually recovers to full guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Don accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Cutlass holds on and takes a little breather.
Cutlass will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Don wants to get up but he can't break Cutlass's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Don swings wildly with an uppercut but Cutlass uses good head movement to avoid it.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Don is trying to break the clinch but Cutlass has him pressed against the cage.
