The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gershenovsky takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Kanh gets caught napping as Gershenovsky dives in and scores a takedown. Kanh manages to retain guard.
Gershenovsky wants to stand but Kanh is controlling his posture from full guard.
Gershenovsky not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Kanh utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kanh is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Gershenovsky's corner is telling him to maintain position.

Kanh working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Gershenovsky doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Kanh is tightening it up a little... Gershenovsky has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Gershenovsky reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Gershenovsky taps out! Nice BJJ there by Kanh!
