Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Clinton Strong (ranked 3301 p4p, 5287 weight class) and Mike Ivanov (ranked 189 p4p, 277 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Clinton Strong !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mike Ivanov!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Wagner Zegers and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Strong tries to clinch but Ivanov moves away
and Ivanov counters with a takedown into side control.
Strong throws Ivanov to one side and escapes!
Strong displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Ivanov.
Strong takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Strong shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Ivanov as he jumps to the side.
Strong forces Ivanov back against the cage and clinches.
Strong tries for a takedown. No joy.
Strong wants to take the fight to the mat but Ivanov manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Clinton Strong . That's going to take a lot out of him.
Ivanov manages to pull guard.
Ivanov keeping moving, preventing Strong from controlling successfully.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Strong drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Strong seems to have locked his on tight now - Ivanov screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Strong , as he picks up the win!
