Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Brett Shoenfeld (ranked 723 p4p, 576 weight class) and Jobber Joe (ranked 45 p4p, 31 weight class). Jobber Joe will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Brett Shoenfeld! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jobber Joe! The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Peter Branson and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! This fight brought to you by 5M nutrition - it's mmmmm tasty. Nice jab by Joe. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Joe, as that shot connected.
Joe is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Shoenfeld. Joe lands with a good body shot. Joe just misses with a punch to the body.
Joe throws a body punch but Shoenfeld moves out of range. Joe has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight. Shoenfeld uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Joe. Joe thuds his right hand into Shoenfeld's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Shoenfeld tries to bum rush Joe with a series of wild strikes but Joe uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Shoenfeld closes this distance looking for a takedown but Joe circles away. Shoenfeld definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. A big left from Joe misses. Shoenfeld attempts a counter takedown but Joe avoids it well and moves away. Shoenfeld has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Shoenfeld there as he acknowledges the shot. Shoenfeld goes for a double leg but Joe avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Joe continues to drive forward. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Shoenfeld tries to pull guard but Joe won't allow it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Brett Shoenfeld. That's going to take a lot out of him. Shoenfeld tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Joe smiles and moves away.
Joe gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Shoenfeld to score an easy takedown into full guard. Shoenfeld won't allow Joe to sweep him here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Shoenfeld pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Joe is keeping the position for now. Shoenfeld postures up.

Joe is fighting to maintain full guard but Shoenfeld has managed to sneak the leg through. Shoenfeld wants to take a breather but Joe is having none of it. Shoenfeld passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Joe! Joe tries to hold on but Shoenfeld postures up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Shoenfeld is working for a guillotine from mount but Joe frees his head quite easily.
Shoenfeld wants to control the pace but Joe is squirming around nicely. Shoenfeld throws some wild stikes that Joe manages to avoid easily.
Joe manages to regain half guard. Good work. The fighters are battling for position here. Joe manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Joe looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Shoenfeld stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Joe swivels though and keeps the full guard. Joe really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Shoenfeld. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Shoenfeld is working hard here to advance position. Shoenfeld sitting in guard here, content to control. Shoenfeld looking to sit in guard and control but Joe gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Shoenfeld is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Shoenfeld tries to land a sweep but no joy. Joe stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Shoenfeld swivels though and keeps the full guard. Shoenfeld working for a triangle but Joe defends it easily.
Shoenfeld escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Joe gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Shoenfeld is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Joe tries to free his leg and advance position but Shoenfeld is retaining full guard. Shoenfeld pulls Joe in close to prevent any damage. Joe trying to control the position from guard on top but Shoenfeld is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Joe got a little sloppy there for a moment and Shoenfeld has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Joe has managed to get both his arms back between Shoenfeld's legs - danger averted. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Brett Shoenfeld will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Joe throws a combination. Shoenfeld tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Nice shot lands for Joe. Jobber Joe seems to be getting the better of the standup. A shot to the body from Shoenfeld misses and Joe counters with a stiff right hand. Shoenfeld doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Joe avoids the body shot from Shoenfeld.
Joe tests Shoenfeld's chin there with a solid looking shot. Nice body punch from Joe. Joe lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Shoenfeld is rocked! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Joe ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Shoenfeld's jaw. Shoenfeld's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Joe does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:42 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Jobber Joe! Jobber Joe is the new bantamweight champion! A loyal slave to those sponsorship dollars, Jobber Joe made sure he mentioned Island Xtreme Clothing, along with how happy he was to win his fight.
