Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Trent Punchy (ranked 973 p4p, 735 weight class) and Jonny Thunder (ranked 146 p4p, 118 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Trent Punchy! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jonny Thunder! The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Daniel Franklin and Winston Alpacca.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Thunder throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Punchy stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Thunder scores with a jab to the body. Punchy showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Thunder.
Punchy was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Thunder lands a body shot.
Thunder swinging wildly here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Thunder cracks Punchy with a good jab. Thunder lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Thunder scores with the left hand. Punchy knows he should have avoided that one. Thunder misses with a jab, cross combination.
Thunder lands with a hook. Punchy tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Danga de danga de dang - Thunder scores with a four punch combination! Thunder lands with a nice body punch.
Thunder takes the fight into the clinch.
Punchy pulls guard successfully.
Punchy pushes a forearm under Thunder's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Thunder is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Trent Punchy! Trent Punchy decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
