Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Grow Up (ranked 1940 p4p, 1211 weight class) and Jhonny Boy (ranked 259 p4p, 184 weight class). Jhonny Boy will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Grow Up! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jhonny Boy! The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Peter Branson and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Up darts in and clinches Boy up against the cage. Boy has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Up clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Boy looking to break Up's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Up remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Boy will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke! Boy doesn't have the hooks in and Up manages to turn into his guard.
Up trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Boy can't keep his opponent in guard - Up advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Boy wants to improve his position but Up is controlling well.
Boy looking for submissions off his back. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Boy works his way to full guard. Good work. Boy working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Up doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Up manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Boy throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
That's one minute gone in the round. Up avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
We've been hearing good reports from Up's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. Up trying to control but Boy is working from the bottom. Boy working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Up has passed into half guard!

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Up seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Boy does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Up passes the guard and advances to mount! Boy is desperately trying to improve his position but Up has a good base and remains in mount. Boy gets back to half guard. Boy throws a strike from the bottom but Up passes into side control!

That's three minutes gone in the round. Up tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Up has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Boy tries to get back to half guard but can't. Boy being controlled for a moment. Up working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Boy manages to get back to half guard.

Boy is refusing to be controlled, as Up sits in half guard. Boy tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. Up trying to control from half guard but Boy is working away. Up works his way into side control. Up controlling the position. Up has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Boy! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Boy is looking to improve his position but Up isn't that keen on the idea. Up looking to control but Boy is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Boy is desperately trying to improve his position but Up has a good base and remains in mount. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Grow Up will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Up forces Boy back against the cage and clinches. Boy wants the takedown. Up is fighting it off but Boy persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Up's guard against the cage. Up trying to control the position.

Boy working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Boy has gone for a leg lock! Up slips out almost immediately though and dives into Boy's guard.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:21 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Grow Up! In his post fight interview, Grow Up started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
