PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between S S (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cody Zamora (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). S comes into the arena with Atmos Ride the Flow(Nelix rmx) blaring out of the sound system. Zamora has chosen Medieval Fiddle as his entrance music. Cody Zamora told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, James Glass and Richard Clark.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Zamora has managed to clinch.

Zamora manages to break the clinch.
S closes this distance looking for a takedown but Zamora circles away.
S misses with the combination.
Zamora lands a head kick!

It looks like S S has been cut.
Zamora pushes S away with a front kick.
S shoots for a double leg takedown but Zamora sprawls well. He's pushed S's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Zamora moves forwards but S connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Zamora is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

S goes for a takedown attempt but Zamora pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Zamora shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in S's guard.

Cody Zamora seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Zamora manages to capitalize on a mistake by S to take his back!
