Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Timur Vasiliev (ranked 197 p4p, 1078 weight class) and Rav Kapur (ranked 9 p4p, 34 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the super heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Timur Vasiliev! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Rav Kapur! The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Peter Branson and Michael Johnstone.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kapur darts in looking for a takedown but Vasiliev gets double underhooks and turns Kapur into the cage. Rav Kapur seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kapur fails with a takedown attempt. Vasiliev tries to clinch but Kapur moves out of range. Kapur shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Vasiliev defends it nicely. Timur Vasiliev has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rav Kapur. Vasiliev closes the distance and clinches. A nice left hand lands by Vasiliev.
Vasiliev definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Kapur tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Vasiliev just stands there and leans against the cage. Vasiliev misses with a punch to the body.

That has opened up Rav Kapur's cut even more. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Vasiliev throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. Kapur looks winded! Vasiliev lands a nice shot to the body. A short right from Vasiliev on the inside. A short right from Vasiliev on the inside.
That's one minute gone in the round. Vasiliev struggles to land a body shot inside as Kapur controls his hands.
Vasiliev can't find room to land a body shot as Kapur controls the action.
Nice body punch from Vasiliev - that landed with a thud.
Vasiliev works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Vasiliev breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Kapur takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Vasiliev gets a clinch. Vasiliev gets through Kapur's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
The cut above Rav Kapur's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Kapur prevents a body shot from Vasiliev. Vasiliev tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Kapur tries to pull guard but Vasiliev holds him up against the cage and eventually Kapur drops back down to his feet.

Vasiliev lands a shot to the body. Vasiliev lands with a short head shot on the inside.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Vasiliev lands a left hand that snaps the head of Kapur backwards. Vasiliev lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage. Vasiliev breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Vasiliev throws an overhand right that drops Kapur like a sack of potatoes! Vasiliev dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
