Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Balin Trollslayer (ranked 487 p4p, 1366 weight class) and Benny West (ranked 74 p4p, 167 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Balin Trollslayer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Benny West!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Peter Branson and David Hoff.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
West lands with a nice body punch.
Trollslayer drives through with a takedown into West's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
West wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Trollslayer manages to pass to side control.
West is looking to escape.
Trollslayer working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Trollslayer perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Trollslayer connects with a nice short shot to West's temple.
Trollslayer definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Trollslayer has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
West tries to kick Trollslayer off in order to stand up. Trollslayer Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.
Trollslayer tries to score with some ground and pound. West controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Trollslayer scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at West to see if he's OK.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
West regains half guard, as Trollslayer was trying to land strikes.
Still in half guard, Trollslayer seems content to control.
Trollslayer is nestled in close to West, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Trollslayer is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for West!
Trollslayer looking to finish West with some ground and pound. This is bad for West!
West is in a horrible position here. Trollslayer smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Trollslayer softens up his opponent with a couple of shots there and then CRACK! One massive shot lands there and West is out cold! Trollslayer jumps to his feet and celebrates on the cage with the fans, who are, quite frankly, going absolutely mental!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Balin Trollslayer!
