Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Nikolay Leonov (ranked 1540 p4p, 2455 weight class) and Arthur Kraag (ranked 229 p4p, 348 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Michael Johnstone and Bart Greer.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kraag fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Leonov manages to avoid it.
Leonov is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Leonov moves out of range as Kraag strikes.
Nice shot lands for Leonov.
Leonov defending well as Kraag loads up on a big left hand.
It looked like Leonov was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Leonov slips a straight right by Kraag .
Kraag throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Leonov ducks under a wild hook from Kraag .
Nikolay Leonov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Leonov walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Kraag checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Leonov has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Kraag .
Leonov ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Kraag fails with an attempt to clinch.
Leonov lands with a thumping leg kick.
Leonov dips to his left and cracks Kraag with an uppercut!
Leonov jabs at Kraag 's body.
Leonov keeps the fight on the outside.
Kraag misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Leonov counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Leonov looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Kraag tries to clinch up but Leonov circles away and keeps his distance.
Leonov throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
A decent looking cross lands there for Leonov.
Leonov connects with a right hand. Kraag shakes it off.
Kraag gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Leonov thuds his right hand into Kraag 's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Kraag throws a low kick, looking for Leonov's leg but Leonov calmly moves out of range.
Kraag walks into a straight right hand from Leonov.

It looks like Nikolay Leonov has been cut.

Kraag wants to clinch.
Leonov scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Kraag tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Leonov counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Leonov connects with a body shot.
Leonov fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Kraag looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Leonov throws a good cross that connects.
Leonov tries to work over Kraag 's front leg with a kick but Kraag checks it.
Kraag missing with a left hand there. Leonov was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Kraag finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Leonov avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Leonov bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Kraag 's head.
Leonov throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Leonov lands a head shot.
Kraag is rocked!
Leonov fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Kraag to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Kraag looks to clinch but Leonov throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Kraag taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!

In his post fight interview, Nikolay Leonov started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
