Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Albin Polak (ranked 4809 p4p, 5717 weight class) and Yamasaki Mishimoto (ranked 240 p4p, 261 weight class). Yamasaki Mishimoto will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Albin Polak! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Yamasaki Mishimoto! The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Michael Johnstone and Santiago Holmes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mishimoto throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Polak looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! A left lands for Mishimoto. Polak shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Polak takes one to the side of the head.
Mishimoto scores with a nice strike. Excellent takedown into side control there by Polak. Polak tries for a kimura but Mishimoto is defending well. Mishimoto is trying to buck Polak off. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Mishimoto is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Mishimoto manages to get back to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mishimoto is trying to stand back up but Polak is controlling him
Polak trying to pass the guard but Mishimoto defending well. Mishimoto trying to control from the bottom.
Well, if Polak is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Polak throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Mishimoto wants to get back to his feet.
Mishimoto is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Polak takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Polak looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Polak avoids the head kick by Mishimoto.
Polak will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. A decent looking cross lands there for Mishimoto. Polak takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Mishimoto scores with a nice strike. Mishimoto is looking to clinch. Polak on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Mishimoto moves into the clinch. Mishimoto tries a body shot but Polak blocks it.
Nice elbow from Mishimoto. Mishimoto breaks the clinch.
A nice leg kick lands there from Mishimoto.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mishimoto throws a leg kick which misses Polak's front leg but catches the back leg as Polak tries to avoid it. Mishimoto buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Mishimoto tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Mishimoto fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Polak manages to avoid it. Mishimoto cracks a nice hook into Polak's ribs. Mishimoto clobbers Polak with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Mishimoto has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Polak crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Mishimoto - the referee stops the clock and Polak gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Mishimoto. Polak manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Polak moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Mishimoto bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Polak is rocked! Mishimoto clinches with his opponent.
Oh Polak is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Mishimoto obliges. Mishimoto escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Mishimoto lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Polak can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Mishimoto and Polak drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Mishimoto.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Yamasaki Mishimoto! Yamasaki Mishimoto seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
