The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Reed Andrews and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Takeda throws a looping overhand right but Bryant ducks down to avoid it.
Bryant throws a left and a right that both miss
and Takeda counters with a nice body shot.
Bryant misses with an attempted mid kick.
A jab lands there for Takeda.
Bryant fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Bryant displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Takeda throws out the jab.
Bryant misses with the body kick
and Takeda counters with a right hand to the body.
Takeda lands the left hand.
Bryant throws out a loose jab but Takeda uses good head movement to avoid it.
Bryant takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Takeda throws a big shot that misses.
Bryant misses with the combination.
Takeda fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
We've been informed that Takeda has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Takeda displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Bryant throws out the jab.

Bryant drops Takeda with a beautiful combination! Takeda stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Bryant is looking for the KO!
Bryant digs a good body shot into Takeda's ribs.
Takeda connects with a body shot that sends Bryant's belly button to the back.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Bryant fails in his attempt to clinch.
Bryant takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Takeda is keeping his hands low and just asking to be knocked out. Bryant Raises his leg and lands a stunning axe kick! Takeda is out cold, face down on the mat!
