Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Affectionately Eve (ranked 6766 p4p, 24247 weight class) and Rico Salvacion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 8 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Affectionately Eve!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 18 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rico Salvacion!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Tiny Johnson and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Eve drives through with a takedown into guard.
Salvacion is looking to sweep but instead, Eve has passed into half guard.
Eve content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Salvacion is trying to control but can't.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Salvacion might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Eve haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Eve wants to stand up but Salvacion is controlling the position.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Eve slows the pace down in half guard.
Eve wants to get back to his feet.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
Salvacion shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Salvacion was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Eve sneaks out the side door and pushes Salvacion away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.
Eve misses with the body kick
and Salvacion counters with a nice body kick.
Salvacion fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Eve quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect.
Salvacion shoots for a takedown but Eve saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Horrible takedown attempt by Eve or perhaps it was just good defense by Salvacion, which made it look bad.
A lazy body kick from Eve
and Salvacion counters with a right hand to the body.
No luck for Salvacion with that takedown attempt.
Affectionately Eve has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rico Salvacion.
Salvacion tries for a takedown but Eve circles away easily
and Eve counters with a takedown into side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Eve decides to stand back up.
Salvacion shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Eve but Eve pushes him off and we're back to square one.
And Eve counters with a quick kick to the body but Salvacion blocks it.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Salvacion.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Affectionately Eve dominated that round.

and Salvacion counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Salvacion shoots in but no luck this time.
Eve quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect.
Eve is trying hard to land a takedown here. Salvacion sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Salvacion stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Salvacion wants it to stay on the feet.
And Salvacion responds with a good body kick, but Eve manages to step out the way in time.

Salvacion closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Eve's guard.
Eve is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Salvacion presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.

Salvacion has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Eve is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Eve stops a takedown attempt from Salvacion.
Salvacion tries to score a body lock takedown but Eve shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Eve's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Eve shoots for a double leg takedown but Salvacion sprawls well. He's pushed Eve's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Salvacion was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.

Salvacion tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Eve defends well and Salvacion ends up having to push Eve into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
It appears Eve was looking to counter with a kick there.
Salvacion fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Salvacion has his takedown stuffed
and Eve counters with a single leg into guard. Salvacion didn't expect that.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Eve wants to stand but Salvacion has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Eve is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Salvacion can do to turn this around?

Salvacion is pulling down on Eve's head to control his posture.
Eve is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Eve shoots in for a takedown but Salvacion shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
And Salvacion responds with a good body kick, but Eve manages to step out the way in time.
Salvacion closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Eve is trying to stand.
Salvacion wants to advance to full mount but Eve doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead.
Eve manages to escape and get back to his feet.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Eve fails to land the takedown.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Affectionately Eve dominated that second round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!
Salvacion dives in for a single leg takedown but Eve sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Eve shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Salvacion as he jumps to the side.

Salvacion shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Eve pushes Salvacion off looking to stand but Salvacion dives back in and keeps control.

Eve tries to kick Salvacion off but Salvacion keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Salvacion is taking a breather. Eve says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Eve tries to score a power double leg takedown but Salvacion sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Eve somewhat.
Rico Salvacion has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Affectionately Eve is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Affectionately Eve.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Eve, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
