Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Helen Salvacion (ranked 24446 p4p, 6747 weight class) and Virgin Mary (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 5 - 20 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Helen Salvacion! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 18 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Virgin Mary! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Tiny Johnson and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Mary shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Salvacion as he jumps to the side. Salvacion closes this distance looking for a takedown but Mary circles away. And Mary responds with a good body kick, but Salvacion manages to step out the way in time. Mary looks for the body kick but Salvacion saw that one coming. Mary shoots in and bounces Salvacion off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mary decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mary closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Salvacion keeping hold of Mary's head, controlling as best he can. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Mary wants to stand up but Salvacion is controlling the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mary keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Salvacion is looking for a sweep. Mary is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Mary wants to get back to his feet.
Salvacion is looking to control Mary's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Salvacion avoid being mounted? Mary is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mary is figuring out what he wants to do next.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Mary darts in looking for a takedown but Salvacion gets double underhooks and turns Mary into the cage. Salvacion quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect. Salvacion dives in and grabs Mary's left leg, looking for a takedown. Mary pushes down on Salvacion's head and hops out. Mary steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect. Mary dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Salvacion. That did some damage! Mary shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. And Salvacion counters with a quick kick to the body but Mary blocks it. Helen Salvacion has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Virgin Mary. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Mary throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Virgin Mary dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Salvacion looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Mary tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Salvacion defends well and Mary ends up having to push Salvacion into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Salvacion gets caught napping as Mary dives in and scores a takedown. Salvacion manages to retain guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mary is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Mary wanted to stand there but Salvacion had control of the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mary is stalling in the full guard. Salvacion controlling the position. Mary throws a big right hand that misses. Mary has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Salvacion is proving hard to escape from. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Salvacion closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Mary is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Salvacion working away. Mary wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Mary is letting Salvacion control him for a moment.
That's three minutes gone in the round. An elbow from Salvacion crashes against the mat.
Mary wants to get back to his feet. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Salvacion wants to lay and pray for a moment but Mary keeps working.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Salvacion shoots in but no luck this time.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Mary looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Salvacion is fending him off so far but Mary persists. Nope, Salvacion circles away and we're back to standing. Salvacion was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit. Mary closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Mary lands in his opponent's guard. Mary slips nicely into half guard. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Salvacion is trying to control but can't.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Virgin Mary showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round! Salvacion fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Salvacion shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Mary as he jumps to the side. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Salvacion goes for a double leg but Mary avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Mary continues to drive forward. Mary let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Helen Salvacion. That's going to take a lot out of him. Mary's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mary throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Salvacion was covering up waiting for the punch and Mary finishes the takedown easily into guard. Mary sitting in guard here, content to control. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Mary has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Salvacion is pulling down on Mary's head. It's preventing any offense from Mary, at least for the moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mary in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Mary throwing strikes but missing. Mary wants to get up but he can't break Salvacion's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Salvacion is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Salvacion has his takedown stuffed and Mary counters with a nice body kick. Mary shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Salvacion sprawls well. Salvacion wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Mary gets slowly back to his feet. Salvacion jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Mary is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Salvacion's half guard. Helen Salvacion has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Virgin Mary is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Salvacion works his way to full guard. Good work. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Salvacion being controlled here, momentarily.
And that's the end of the fight! Virgin Mary comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Mary has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
