Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 16 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Richard John Salvacion!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Spar Bot!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Alan Glass and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bot fails in his attempt to clinch.
Salvacion drops down looking for a counter takedown but Bot sprawls and moves away.
Salvacion stuffs the takedown attempt from Bot. Bot gets slowly back to his feet.
Salvacion swats away the attempt to clinch by Bot.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Salvacion. Bot shrugs it off though.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bot swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Salvacion counters with a good, hard body kick but Bot shrugs it off.
Salvacion fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Bot tries to clinch but Salvacion is having none of it.
Bot looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Salvacion is fending him off so far but Bot persists. Nope, Salvacion circles away and we're back to standing.
Salvacion thinks about countering with a head kick.

Bot is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Salvacion's half guard.
Bot thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Bot is trying to control. Salvacion wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Salvacion wants to control but Bot is keeping busy.
Bot seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
Bot shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Salvacion as he avoids it easily.
Richard John Salvacion has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Spar Bot.
Salvacion is trying hard to land a takedown here. Bot sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Bot tries to clinch
and Salvacion counters with a leg kick.
Bot dives in for a single leg takedown but Salvacion sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Bot shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Salvacion defends it nicely.
Salvacion thinks about countering with a body kick.

and Salvacion counters with a nice body kick.

Bot might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Salvacion haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Bot is controlling Salvacion's position as best he can from this difficult position.

Salvacion fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Bot sprawls well initially but Salvacion persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Bot is looking for a sweep. Salvacion is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Bot moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Bot is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Bot looking to control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Bot had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Salvacion defends it easily.
Bot throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Bot is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Bot tries to pass to full mount but Salvacion defends it.
Bot is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.

Bot sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Salvacion defending well though.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Bot in particular looking to stall.

Bot stands up from half guard.
Bot throws a nice looking combination but Salvacion bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Bot misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Salvacion is looking to counter with a body kick.
Salvacion stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Salvacion wants it to stay on the feet.
Salvacion quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect.

Bot gets the takedown into side control.
Bot is breathing heavily.
Salvacion is letting Bot control him for a moment.

Bot fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Bot cracks Salvacion with an elbow. That is naaassty.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Bot is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Salvacion has escaped the position, nice work there.
Spar Bot has got the better of the ground game so far.
Salvacion is in a bad spot here and he knows it... just holding on for now.
Bot working the head with strikes.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Salvacion taking punishment in the form of punches.
Bot scores with a couple of short elbows.

Bot goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Salvacion rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Bot's guard! Nice work there by Salvacion!

Salvacion avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Spar Bot showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Bot slaps away a takedown attempt from Salvacion, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Bot tries to counter with a clinch but Salvacion shakes him off and moves away.
Bot shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Salvacion counters with a nice leg kick.

Salvacion gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Salvacion lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Bot not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Bot trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage.
Bot wants to stand up but Salvacion is controlling him.
Bot is adopting a defensive guard.
Bot is trying to control the position but Salvacion postures up.
Bot looking for a sweep. Not yet Bot, not yet.
Bot is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Salvacion is defended easily by Bot.
Bot lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Bot shoots in but no luck this time.
Bot shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Salvacion as he jumps to the side.
Salvacion jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit.
Richard John Salvacion has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Spar Bot.
Bot takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Salvacion looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Salvacion wants to take a breather but Bot is having none of it.
Bot landing strikes from the bottom.
Bot is trying to control but can't.
Bot controlling the leg, holding on to half guard.
Salvacion trying to control the action but Bot is working from the bottom.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Bot makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!
Bot shoots in for a takedown but Salvacion shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Salvacion fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Bot shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Salvacion defends it nicely.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Richard John Salvacion.
I think Salvacion has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
