Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 19 - 1, fighting out of New York, Bruno Salvacion!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 23 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Poison Ivy!
The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Alyssa Summers and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Ivy blocks the body kick.
Ivy moves out of range as Salvacion throws a body kick.
Salvacion scores with a spinning back kick!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Ivy.
Salvacion quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect.

Ivy takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Ivy is taking a breather. Salvacion says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Ivy shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Salvacion pinned against the cage. Salvacion gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Salvacion shoots for a takedown but Ivy saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Ivy feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Salvacion seems keen to control Ivy's posture.
Ivy gets to his feet - Salvacion follows without any prompting.
Ivy changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Salvacion looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Ivy has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

And Ivy responds with a good body kick, but Salvacion manages to step out the way in time.
Ivy has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Salvacion takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Nice takedown defense from Ivy. No joy for Salvacion on that attempt.
Ivy is clearly looking to counter with head kicks.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Ivy tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Salvacion was well out of range. Poor timing from Ivy.

Ivy wants to get back to his feet but Salvacion passes into half guard.

Poison Ivy showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Well Ivy has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
