Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Carlos Fleet (ranked 4857 p4p, 4710 weight class) and Danny Phantom (ranked 266 p4p, 0 weight class). Danny Phantom will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Carlos Fleet! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Danny Phantom! The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Saam Ante and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fleet misses with a double jab.
Phantom pushes Fleet up against the cage in a clinch. A frustrated look appears on Fleet's face as he tries to break the clinch. Phantom breaks from the clinch.
Fleet changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Phantom tries to avoid it but Fleet manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Phantom to the ground. Phantom escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Fleet tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Phantom swivels and escapes. Phantom avoids the head kick by Fleet.
Phantom works over Fleet's head and body with a nice combination.
It looks like Carlos Fleet has been cut. Fleet clinches with his opponent.
Phantom jumps into guard, dragging Fleet to the mat.
Phantom trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. Fleet has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Phantom is proving hard to escape from. Fleet controls from within his opponent's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Phantom is on top in guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Phantom slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Fleet looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Phantom passes into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Fleet is refusing to be controlled, as Phantom sits in half guard. Fleet is looking for a sweep. Phantom is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Phantom not landing any meaningful shots this time.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fleet actively working from the bottom here. Phantom is trying to control. Fleet wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Phantom not landing any meaningful shots this time.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Nice sprawl there from Fleet as Phantom shoots in. Fleet attempts a counter takedown but Phantom avoids it well and moves away. Phantom moves into range and clinches up with Fleet. Phantom lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Phantom scores with an uppercut up the middle. Fleet drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Phantom gets the underhooks and prevents it.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Phantom blocks an elbow strike. Phantom lands an elbow inside. Fleet working hard to break the clinch. Phantom avoiding damage.

Phantom instigates a clinch. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Phantom takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Fleet tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Danny Phantom dominated that round. The cut man is working on Carlos Fleet's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. Phantom misses with a takedown attempt - Fleet sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Fleet fails with the takedown and Phantom counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Phantom shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Fleet but Fleet pushes him off and we're back to square one. Phantom scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Phantom is looking to clinch but Fleet is avoiding it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fleet swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Phantom lands a jab to Fleet's midsection. Fleet tries to close the distance and clinch but Phantom swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Phantom darts in looking for a takedown but Fleet gets double underhooks and turns Phantom into the cage. Carlos Fleet has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Danny Phantom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fleet shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Phantom but Phantom pushes him off and we're back to square one. Phantom blocks a head kick by Fleet.
Phantom throws a fast counter high kick but Fleet manages to duck under it in time. Fleet drives through and clinches with Phantom against the cage.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Fleet working some strikes from top position. Fleet engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Phantom tries to land a sweep but no joy. Phantom is looking for a triangle here but Fleet uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Fleet is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Phantom knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fleet tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. Fleet wants to take a breather but Phantom manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Fleet. Phantom has a closed guard, preventing Fleet from standing up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Phantom wants to control the position but Fleet says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard. Fleet trying to pass the guard but Phantom defending well. Fleet is nestled in close to Phantom, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Fleet keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Fleet's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round! Phantom tries to clinch but fails miserably and Fleet cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Phantom has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Phantom looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Danny Phantom seems to be getting the better of the standup. Fleet closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Phantom to the mat! Phantom manages to get full guard. Fleet looking to sit in guard and control but Phantom gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Fleet seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Phantom tries to free his leg and advance position but Fleet is retaining full guard. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Fleet holds on and takes a little breather.
That's one minute gone in the round. Phantom stands up from guard. Let's bang! Fleet dives in for a single leg takedown but Phantom sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Phantom breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Fleet pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Phantom back to the cage. Fleet follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. Fleet clinches up with Phantom and pushes him back against the cage. Phantom is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Phantom wants to stall.
Phantom is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Phantom prevents Fleet from breaking the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Phantom is working for takedown but Fleet is calmly controlling the position for now. Carlos Fleet has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Danny Phantom. Fleet leaning against his opponent.

Phantom takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Fleet drops down looking for an ankle pick but Phantom pulls his leg out and moves away.
Fleet fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Phantom sprawls well initially but Fleet persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Phantom tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Fleet manages to move to mount!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Fleet is trying to stand up but he's being controlled by his opponent.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fleet tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Fleet with good strikes from the mount here! Fleet goes for an armbar but Phantom turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Phantom. Phantom looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Phantom won't allow Fleet to sweep him here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fleet keeping moving, preventing Phantom from controlling successfully. Phantom trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Fleet holds on and takes a little breather. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Fleet has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
And that's the end of the fight! Carlos Fleet showed his dominance in that final round. I think Fleet has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
