Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dom Severini (ranked 290 p4p, 445 weight class) and Jack Wilson (ranked 50 p4p, 67 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 21 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dom Severini! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 12 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jack Wilson! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Wesley Smith and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Severini throws a looping overhand right but Wilson ducks down to avoid it. A punch combination from Severini misses. Severini misses with a shot to the body and Severini takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Wilson fails to land with a series of punches.
Severini has taken the fight to the clinch.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Severini as Wilson tries to tie him up. Severini trying to land knees to the body.
Severini misses with a hook from the clinch. Severini has Wilson pressed against the cage, preventing Wilson from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Wilson digs a right hand into Severini's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Severini's gas tank. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wilson wants to break the clinch but can't.
Wilson's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Severini tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Wilson was well out of range. Poor timing from Severini. Wilson looks like he wants to counter punch here. Severini throws a series of punches but Wilson avoids them all with ease. Severini swings away with a body shot that misses
and Severini takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wilson scores with a hook to the body. Severini takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Severini, as that shot connected.
Wilson connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Severini swings widly with a right hand
and Wilson counters with a nice right hand that sends Severini toppling to the canvas! Severini scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Wilson finish him?!
It looks like Dom Severini has been cut. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! A swing and a miss from Wilson. Severini scores with a nice head shot. Severini slips under a jab from Wilson. Wilson feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Severini sprawling to the canvas! Severini rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Wilson finish him?!
Severini is rocked! Wilson is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Severini. Severini uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Wilson throws a right hand that misses
and Severini counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wilson misses with a looping right. Wilson takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Severini lands with an uppercut that bounces Wilson off the cage and back into range.
It looks like Jack Wilson has been cut. Jack Wilson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Wilson cracks a nice hook into Severini's ribs. Wilson ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Wilson throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Wilson misses with a body shot.
Severini on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Severini looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Severini avoids a punch combination nicely.
It looked like Severini was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Wilson. Severini misses with a looping left.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wilson jabbing away but nothing is landing. Wilson throws a lazy uppercut
and Severini counters with a leg kick then a big left hand that sends Wilson down! Severini is looking to finish but Wilson is intelligently defending himself.
Wilson is rocked! Severini gets to his feet and stands over Wilson, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Wilson felt that one! Severini unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Wilson from any more punishment!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dom Severini! Dom Severini managed to slip a mention for his sponsors, Conviction, into his post fight interview.
