Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Moshe Weiss (ranked 5757 p4p, 2600 weight class) and Lee Roy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Roy has chosen General Lee as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Moshe Weiss! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 13 - 12 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Lee Roy! The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Paul Aken and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Roy gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Roy holding his opponent close, against the cage.

My spies in Fenrir MMA inform me that Roy has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Roy postures up.

Weiss pushes down on Roy's leg and manages to get into half guard. Weiss looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Weiss might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Roy keeping full guard, as Weiss tries to pass. Roy looking to hit a scissor sweep but Weiss is one step ahead there. Weiss is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Roy throws a leg kick but Weiss checks it. Roy darts in and clinches Weiss up against the cage. Roy softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. Roy has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Roy blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Roy lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. A short right from Roy on the inside. Weiss tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Roy lands an uppercut. Roy blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Weiss changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Roy fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Roy pushes Weiss up against the cage in a clinch. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Roy tightens his grip and picks Weiss up, before dumping him to the ground. Weiss manages to land in guard. Weiss is looking for a triangle but Roy pushes his legs off easily.

Lee Roy showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round! Roy swings for the body but Weiss moves out of range.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Weiss shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Roy sprawls well. Roy wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Weiss gets slowly back to his feet. Roy fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Weiss, pushing him back against the cage.

Roy turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! Weiss on the wrong end of some ground and pound. Weiss is looking for a sweep. Weiss is working hard here to advance position. Roy controlling the position from side mount. Moshe Weiss has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Roy lands a decent elbow from side control. Lee Roy has got the better of the ground game so far. Weiss can't do much from the bottom here. Weiss manages to get back to half guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Weiss is staying active underneath Roy, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Roy works his way into side control.

Lee Roy is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Roy staying calm. Roy's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Weiss tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Roy wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Weiss is trying to strike from the bottom but Roy has passed into full mount. Roy takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
And that's the end of the fight! Lee Roy comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Roy has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
