The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Howard drives through with a takedown into guard.

Howard pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Olatunji is keeping the position for now.
Howard sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Olatunji's guard.
Howard lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Howard tries to pass to full mount but Olatunji defends it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Howard is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Olatunji sees it coming and defends easily.

Howard is looking for a kimura but Olatunji is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Howard to get the leverage.
Howard wants to pass the guard but Olatunji is defending well.
