The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fedorov closes the distance and clinches.
Shields drops down looking for an ankle pick but Fedorov pulls his leg out and moves away.
Fedorov throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Shields on the side of the head.
It looks like Rick Shields has been cut.
Fedorov lands with a precision combination! Left, right, uppercut and Shields falls flat on his face, eyes wide open but he's out!
