Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Blake Baxter (ranked 4247 p4p, 3048 weight class) and Dosh Oh (ranked 392 p4p, 301 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Blake Baxter!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dosh Oh!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oh waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Baxter.
A counter left hand to the body from Baxter misses its target.
Baxter buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Oh throws a jab but it's blocked by Baxter.

Baxter tries to sprawl but Oh drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Baxter wants to improve his position but Oh is controlling well.
Baxter has his hands clasped together around Oh's back. He's all about the action.
Baxter is not content to let Oh control the position.
Oh looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Oh in particular looking to stall.
Baxter is refusing to be controlled, as Oh sits in half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Oh is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Baxter is controlling Oh's position as best he can from this difficult position.
Oh is looking to take a break and control but Baxter is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
We've been hearing good reports from Baxter's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Oh ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Baxter moves away.
Oh on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Baxter. Baxter obviously looking to wear him down.
Nice straight punches there by Baxter. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Baxter.

Blake Baxter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Baxter lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
