PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Benjamin Noeigati (ranked 3387 p4p, 3897 weight class) and Stephen Steve (ranked 438 p4p, 477 weight class). Noeigati kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Cremation of Sam McGee. This should be a great matchup!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Stephen Steve!
The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Russell Pearce and Joseph Jones.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Noeigati swings for the body but Steve moves out of range.
Steve takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Noeigati misses with a hook. Steve ducked under it nicely.
Noeigati lands with an uppercut that bounces Steve off the cage and back into range.
Noeigati lands a nice shot to the body.
Steve fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Noeigati looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Noeigati pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Noeigati takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Noeigati walks into a straight right hand from Steve.

It looks like Benjamin Noeigati has been cut.
Noeigati darts in trying to clinch
and Noeigati takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
A punch lands to the side of Steve 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Steve lands a big uppercut and Noeigati crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Noeigati looks OK. Steve waves Noeigati back to his feet!

Noeigati is rocked!
Steve works Noeigati's body with a nice hook.
Oh Noeigati is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Noeigati walks into a straight right, dropping him to the canvas! Steve swarms him and finishes the fight with a hail of punches! What a brutal finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Stephen Steve!
A relieved looking Stephen Steve thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
