Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Yu Yan (ranked 6181 p4p, 4720 weight class) and Toshio Takanashi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Toshio Takanashi has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Yu Yan's chin.

Yan is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

Yan is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Takanashi pulls his head out easily.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Takanashi takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Yan is refusing to be controlled, as Takanashi sits in half guard.
Takanashi might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Yan haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Well Takanashi has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
