Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kip York (ranked 24345 p4p, 23917 weight class) and Sam Salter (ranked 496 p4p, 494 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Salter's choice of entrance music: Dead Or Alive. Sam Salter told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Salter keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
York looks to score with a jab to the body but Salter is just out of range.
Kip York seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
York clinches with his opponent.
York missing with knees to the body.
Salter blocks an elbow strike from York.
York has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Salter regains guard immediately.
Salter looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Salter is looking for a triangle but York pushes his legs off easily.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Salter pushes a forearm under York's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, York is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
