Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Scooter Bob (ranked 331 p4p, 579 weight class) and Death Minister (ranked 42 p4p, 79 weight class). Minister has chosen Rhapsody of Fire as his entrance music. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Jorge Garcia and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Minister misses with a lunging right hand
and Bob counters with a left and a right that stings Minister.
Bob has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Power Shark Gym in the buildup to the fight.
Minister slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Minister throws a lazy uppercut
and Bob counters with a stiff right hand.

and Bob cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Minister is still on wobbly legs! Can Bob finish him?
Minister is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Bob.
A slow jab from Minister misses its intended target.

Minister has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

and Bob counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

and Minister takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

and Bob counters with a nice uppercut.
Minister ducks right into an uppercut from Bob.
Minister ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Bob moves away.

As Minister looks to move away, Bob throws a big counter combo but Minister just gets out of the way.

Minister smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

Minister might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Bob counters with a nice right hand that sends Minister toppling to the canvas! Minister scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Bob finish him?!
Minister fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Bob looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Bob takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

and Minister counters with a slapping leg kick.
Minister throws a sloppy body shot
and Bob counters with a stiff right hand.
Minister throws an off balance right hand
and Bob counters with a huge left! Minister is in big trouble! He's backing up but Bob isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Minister from any more damage. A dominating finish by Bob!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Scooter Bob!
During a confident post fight interview, Scooter Bob thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
The defeated Death Minister had this to say: 'You have survived the Death Minister, you mortal life has been spared for now.'.
