Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between DJ Killeshaw (ranked 4616 p4p, 4805 weight class) and John Bomb (ranked 575 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, DJ Killeshaw!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, John Bomb!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Killeshaw throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Bomb.
Killeshaw ducks under a wild hook from Bomb.
John Bomb seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bomb wants to clinch up but Killeshaw keeps it at a distance.
Bomb lands a leg kick that knocks Killeshaw off balance momentarily.
Killeshaw avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Bomb wants to clinch up but Killeshaw keeps it at a distance.
Bomb throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Bomb lunges at Killeshaw with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Killeshaw's hand.
Bomb lands a jab to the head.
Bomb tries to close the distance and clinch but Killeshaw swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
A little feinted left hand from Killeshaw on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Bomb turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Killeshaw slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

and Killeshaw counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Bomb tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Killeshaw counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Bomb lands a jab to the head.
Bomb is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Killeshaw circles away from the clinch attempt.
Bomb tries to move into range but Killeshaw moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Bomb wants to clinch up but Killeshaw keeps it at a distance.
Killeshaw is looking to counter punch.
John Bomb is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Bomb scores with a jab. Killeshaw acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Killeshaw tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Bomb is able to avoid easily.

Bomb swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
The fight stays on the outside here - Bomb looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Bomb throws out a loose jab but Killeshaw uses good head movement to avoid it.
Bomb swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Bomb tries to clinch there but Killeshaw circles away.
Killeshaw works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Bomb throws the left hand but Killeshaw avoids the punch easily.
Killeshaw bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Killeshaw has a takedown stuffed.
Killeshaw takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Killeshaw keeps the fight on the outside.
A counter left hand to the body from Killeshaw misses its target.

Killeshaw moves away from the strike by Bomb.
Killeshaw swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Killeshaw walks into a straight right hand from Bomb.
Bomb shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Killeshaw checks the leg kick.
Bomb wants to slow Killeshaw down by chopping away at his legs.
Bomb throws a head kick but Killeshaw moves out of range.
Killeshaw avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Bomb tries to land a leg kick but Killeshaw saw it coming and moves away.
Bomb misses the shot to the body.
Killeshaw is looking to counter punch.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Bomb throws a leg kick but Killeshaw sees it coming and moves out of range.
As Bomb looks to move away, Killeshaw throws a big counter combo but Bomb just gets out of the way.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but John Bomb will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.

Killeshaw misses with an uppercut
and Bomb counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Bomb cracks Killeshaw with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Killeshaw displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Bomb throws out the jab.
Bomb tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
A quick step to the side and Killeshaw tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Killeshaw moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Killeshaw scores with a decent looking hook.
Bomb lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Bomb misses with a head kick.
Bomb throws a lazy right hand but Killeshaw sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Bomb throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Killeshaw checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.

Bomb throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Killeshaw takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Bomb misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Bomb uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Killeshaw.
Bomb has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Killeshaw avoids the head kick by Bomb.
Killeshaw moves out of range as Bomb strikes.
Bomb throws a sloppy head kick and Killeshaw moves out of range easily.

Killeshaw closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Killeshaw lands in his opponent's guard.
Bomb is breathing heavily.
Killeshaw is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Bomb keeping moving, preventing Killeshaw from controlling successfully.

Killeshaw distracts Bomb with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Bomb looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Killeshaw puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
Killeshaw not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Killeshaw scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Bomb avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Killeshaw.
Bomb is looking to control Killeshaw's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Bomb avoid being mounted?
Bomb is not content to let Killeshaw control the position.

Nice strikes from Killeshaw there.
Killeshaw has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Killeshaw not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Killeshaw is thwarting Bomb's attempts to control the position.
Killeshaw lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Killeshaw stalling.
Killeshaw is just content to waste time from the top position. Bomb takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Killeshaw throws a big right hand that misses.
Killeshaw working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Bomb's head.
Killeshaw wants to control from the top but Bomb keeps moving.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Killeshaw controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Bomb fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Killeshaw, pushing him back against the cage.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that DJ Killeshaw will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Bomb throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
and Killeshaw counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Bomb connects with a good right hand that stumbles Killeshaw. Killeshaw circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Bomb fails in his attempt to clinch.
Bomb throws a lazy uppercut
and Killeshaw counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Bomb is rocked!
Bomb uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Killeshaw has time to react.
Bomb misses with an uppercut
and Bomb takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Bomb is still on wobbly legs! Can Killeshaw finish him?
Bomb misses with a body punch
and Killeshaw counters with a monster hook and another for good measure! Bomb falls to the ground, out cold! Stick some heavy metal music over the top of that clip and it's one for the highlight makers!
