Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between James Young (ranked 4001 p4p, 3476 weight class) and Andre Hooyao (ranked 454 p4p, 406 weight class). Andre Hooyao is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, James Young!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Andre Hooyao!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Johanna Lukiainen and Tarja Halkonen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hooyao misses with a double jab

and Young counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Young.

Young drops back looking for a leg! Hooyao is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Hooyao manages to kick Young off! Young jumps back into Hooyao's guard.

Young got a little sloppy there for a moment and Hooyao has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Young has managed to get both his arms back between Hooyao's legs - danger averted.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Hooyao is looking for a triangle but Young pushes his legs off easily.
Young wants to pass the guard but Hooyao is keeping the position.

Hooyao is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Young advances to half guard.
Hooyao regains full guard. Nicely done.
Young pushes down on Hooyao's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Young is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Hooyao is trying to control but can't.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Young is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Hooyao has managed to free his arm - good work.
Hooyao is looking to improve his position.
Young works his foot free and advances to mount.

Young avoids the attempt from Hooyao to control.
Hooyao is wriggling around trying to escape.

Young swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Hooyao is now in Young's guard. A big mistake from Young there, giving up the dominant position!
Hooyao pushes down on Young's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Hooyao is looking for a kimura but Young is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Hooyao to get the leverage.
Hooyao is just content to waste time from the top position. Young takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
Hooyao is pushing down on Young's leg trying to pass to half guard. Young is fighting to maintain full guard but Hooyao has managed to sneak the leg through.

Young is looking for a sweep. Hooyao is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Hooyao seems to be looking for submissions.

Hooyao looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Hooyao wants to work for an arm triangle but Young is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Young is refusing to be controlled, as Hooyao sits in half guard.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Hooyao seems to be trying to get a kimura but instead Young has recovered full guard.

Hooyao drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Hooyao jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Hooyao trying to control the position from guard on top but Young is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Hooyao is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that James Young will probably get the nod.
That's time! Young's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Young moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

It looks like James Young has been cut.
Hooyao cracks Young with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Young tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Hooyao pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Young is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:18 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Andre Hooyao!
Andre Hooyao decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
