Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Petter Persson (ranked 2526 p4p, 2891 weight class) and Jeppe Bjoergen (ranked 308 p4p, 352 weight class). Persson comes to the cage accompanied by JINJER - Pisces. Petter Persson could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Jeppe Bjoergen's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Petter Persson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jeppe Bjoergen!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Winston Howard and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Persson misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Bjoergen.
Persson waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Bjoergen.
Persson thuds a left hand into Bjoergen's body.
Bjoergen tries to land a front kick but Persson steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Bjoergen's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Persson connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Bjoergen scrambles back to his feet.
It looks like Jeppe Bjoergen has been cut.
Persson really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Bjoergen throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Persson seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Persson jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Bjoergen delivers a nice body kick.
Persson lands a left and a right that send Bjoergen crashing to the mat, dazed. Persson thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Bjoergen takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Persson feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Bjoergen sprawling to the canvas! Bjoergen rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Persson finish him?!
That has opened up Jeppe Bjoergen's cut even more.
Good shot there by Persson.
Bjoergen keeps Persson at a distance using the push kick.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Bjoergen throws out a loose jab but Persson uses good head movement to avoid it.
Persson pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Persson blocks the body kick.
Bjoergen jabbing away but nothing is landing.

and Persson counters with a straight right hand.
The cut above Jeppe Bjoergen's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Bjoergen ducks right into an uppercut from Persson.
Persson cracks a nice hook into Bjoergen's ribs.
Bjoergen looks to land a right hand but Persson moved out of range.
A slow jab from Persson misses its intended target.
Persson slips a jab from Bjoergen.
Bjoergen ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Persson moves away.
Bjoergen lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Bjoergen throws a jab when Persson was well out of range.
Persson throwing a counter right hand but Bjoergen manages to avoid it.
Bjoergen misses the body punch
and Persson counters with a crisp one two that drops Bjoergen! Persson thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Bjoergen to his feet! Bjoergen is in big trouble!
Jeppe Bjoergen's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Jeppe Bjoergen's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Petter Persson!
In his post fight interview, Petter Persson started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
