Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Romieoga Orte (ranked 4982 p4p, 5477 weight class) and Spar Bot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Romieoga Orte! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Spar Bot! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Frank Dennis and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Orte shoots in and drives through. Bot sprawls well. Bot stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Bot wants it to stay on the feet. Orte feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Bot wants to sweep but no luck. Bot trying to keep a closed guard but Orte is proving a slippery customer.
Bot keeping full guard, as Orte tries to pass. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Orte stopping the sweep attempt from Bot. Orte is looking to stand up but Bot won't let him. Bot working for a triangle but Orte defends it easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Orte controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Bot takes one on the button.
It looks like Spar Bot has been cut. Bot tries to clinch up. Orte throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Bot fails with an attempt to clinch.
Orte drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Orte stops Bot from standing up. Orte slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Orte has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bot controls Orte momentarily but Orte frees himself. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Orte seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Bot is striking but Orte is not phased and passes to half guard. Orte content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Orte wants to stand up but Bot is controlling the position.
Orte tries to pass the half guard into mount. Bot knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Well, if Orte is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Bot fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Orte closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Bot tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Orte is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Bot to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Bot shrugs it off. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Bot can do anything to dispel that myth. Orte takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Bot is in all sorts of trouble here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bot really wants to buck Orte off and get back to his feet. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Orte looking to control and managing it successfully. Bot is trying desperately to improve position. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Romieoga Orte dominated that round. The cut man is working on Spar Bot's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Orte misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Bot changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Romieoga Orte is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Orte tries for a takedown but Bot sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Bot keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Bot misses with an uppercut
and Orte counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Orte rushes Bot and presses him up against the cage. Orte pulls guard effortlessly. Orte keeping full guard, as Bot tries to pass. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bot wanted to stand there but Orte had control of the position. Bot drops back, looking for a kneebar! Orte looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Orte looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Orte!
That's one minute gone in the round. Orte controlling the position. Romieoga Orte overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Bot is trying to get back to half guard. Orte advances nicely into full mount. Bot keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Orte controlling the pace for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Orte with the ground and pound from mount. Bot tries to hold on but Orte postures up. Orte is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Bot can do to turn this around? Orte tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Bot is working to get back to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Orte is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Bot is surviving well by controlling Orte's body position as best he can. Orte sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Orte's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Bot takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Bot reaches up to try and control the position but Orte seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Bot rolls and tries to escape and now Orte has his back!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Orte has Bot flattened out and is raining down punches. Orte has good solid back control here. Orte throwing damaging strikes from the back! Bot could be in trouble here!
That has opened up Spar Bot's cut even more. Bot is breathing heavily. Bot is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet. Orte is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Bot is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Orte gets his way!
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Romieoga Orte dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Spar Bot's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round! Orte dives in and grabs Bot's left leg, looking for a takedown. Bot pushes down on Orte's head and hops out. Orte fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Orte closes the distance and clinches. Bot has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Orte avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Orte breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Orte has managed to clinch.
Orte escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Orte connects with a good right hand that stumbles Bot. Bot circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
The cut above Spar Bot's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Orte shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Bot has one foot on Orte's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. Bot takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's one minute gone in the round. Orte misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Romieoga Orte. That's going to take a lot out of him. Orte looks for a takedown but Bot sprawls well. Orte sets himself, and Bot steps forward looking for the clinch! Orte avoids it this time. Bot tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Orte swivels and escapes. Bot dives in for a single leg takedown but Orte sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Orte throws a sloppy head kick and Bot moves out of range easily. Bot shoots in but Orte avoids the takedown attempt easily. Orte attempts a counter takedown but Bot avoids it well and moves away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Orte shoots in and bounces Bot off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Orte showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Bot tries to land a sweep but no joy. Bot keeping full guard, as Orte tries to pass. Bot not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Orte controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Orte would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Orte sitting in guard, not really doing much.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Orte shoots in looking for a takedown but Bot manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Orte's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Orte shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Orte throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Bot's waist but Bot gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Orte off to one side. Romieoga Orte is winning the standup battle so far. Bot tries to clinch up but Orte circles away and keeps his distance. Orte is looking to counter with head kicks. Bot tries to clinch up but Orte circles away and keeps his distance.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Bot shoots in for a double leg but Orte sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Orte throws a big counter combination but Bot scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Orte shoots for a double leg takedown but Bot sprawls well. He's pushed Orte's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Bot dives in and grabs Orte's left leg, looking for a takedown. Orte pushes down on Bot's head and hops out. Bot decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Orte keeping hold of Bot's head, controlling as best he can. Bot is looking to take a break and control but Orte is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Romieoga Orte. Well Orte has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win...
