The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Bot works his foot free and advances to mount.
Shmo wants to control but Bot is having none of it.

Shmo is trying to escape the mount.

That's time! Bot's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Shmo shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Bot looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
Shmo is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
We've been hearing good reports from Bot's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Bot's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Shmo has managed to clinch.

Shmo shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Bot is trying to defend but Shmo finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

jo Shmo showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Shmo wants to lay and pray for a moment but Bot keeps working.
Bot regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Shmo.
Bot trying to keep a closed guard but Shmo is proving a slippery customer.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Bot gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

jo Shmo comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Shmo has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
