Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Power Choker (ranked 4863 p4p, 5117 weight class) and Aloisio Rodil (ranked 58 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rodil tries for a takedown but Choker sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Choker shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Rodil manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Rodil had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Choker defends it easily.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Choker lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

Rodil shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Choker napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Choker is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Choker throws a strike but Rodil rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Rodil misses with a head shot. Choker uses the momentum to regain guard.

Choker manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Rodil manages to get himself to full guard.

Choker stands up over Rodil, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Rodil wants to sweep but no luck.
Choker wants to get up but he can't break Rodil's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Choker seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Rodil for as long as he can get away with.

That was a close second round but I would say that Power Choker will probably get the nod.

Rodil steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Choker. That one must have hurt.

Choker is taking a breather. Rodil says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Rodil is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
