And in the blue corner, fighting out of New York, with a TWGC record of 10 wins and 10 losses; Darian Cruz!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Wesley Smith and Stewart Dunkirk.


The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sakuraba seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Cruz for as long as he can get away with.

It looks like Cruz might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
