This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the bantamweight division. Introducing today's competitors. And in the blue corner, fighting out of New York, with a TWGC record of 2 wins and 2 losses; Jesus Malverde! The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Daniel Cesar and Leandro Rodrigues.
The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way. Wasa shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Malverde as he avoids it easily. Malverde forces Wasa back against the cage and clinches. Wasa tries to score a body lock takedown but Malverde shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Malverde successfully pulls guard.

Let's hope that Malverde has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Malverde is continuing to stall.
