Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ze do caixao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steven Weis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ze do caixao!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Matheus Silva and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Weis closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Weis lands in his opponent's guard.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Weis shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says do caixao as he avoids it easily.

do caixao knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Weis on the ground.
do caixao has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Weis's face.
do caixao can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Weis is looking to escape.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Weis displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Weis is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Weis had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. do caixao is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Weis Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take do caixao's back instead.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Even with his hooks in, Weis manages to miss with strikes from the back.

Weis is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. do caixao knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften do caixao for a finish.

Weis has control of do caixao's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and do caixao regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Weis is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. do caixao can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Weis looking to isolate an arm here. do caixao doesn't see it coming and as Weis extends the arm, he's forced to tap out! Nice submission by Weis!
