This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the welterweight division. Introducing today's competitors. And in the blue corner, fighting out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 10 wins and 8 losses; Wutang Lee! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Tiny Johnson and Stewart Dunkirk.
The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way. Lee clinches with his opponent.

Azaryan pulls Lee into guard.
Azaryan wants to sweep but no luck. Azaryan is adopting a defensive guard. Lee is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Azaryan trying to keep a closed guard but Lee is proving a slippery customer.
That's one minute gone in the round. Azaryan throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Lee escapes and throws Azaryan's legs to the side, diving into side control! Score +3 for passing guard: Azaryan (0) vs (3) Lee Azaryan is looking to reverse the position. Lee is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Azaryan's shoulder. That is not cool. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Azaryan wants to control but Lee postures up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lee trying to control the action but Azaryan is working from the bottom. Azaryan is letting Lee control him for a moment. Lee has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at CT. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one. Azaryan prevents Lee from moving into mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lee wants to lay and pray for a moment but Azaryan keeps working. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Azaryan trying to remain calm as Lee controls from the top position. Azaryan gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Lee controlling the action here. Azaryan looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lee slows the pace down in half guard. Azaryan is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Lee pulls his head out easily. Azaryan controlling the leg, holding on to half guard.
That's five minutes gone in the round. Lee prevents Azaryan from improving his position. Azaryan has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Lee in particular looking to stall. Lee is pressing down on Azaryan's thigh, looking to free his foot. Azaryan is holding on for now.
That's six minutes gone in the round. Azaryan tries to roll over but Lee keeps him under control. Azaryan is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Lee pulls his head out easily. Lee prevents Azaryan from improving his position. Lee trying to control the pace.
That's seven minutes gone in the round. Azaryan is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Lee's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Lee's back! Score +4 for clean sweep to past guard: Azaryan (4) vs (3) Lee I really don't envy Lee right now.

He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Lee trying to control the position from guard on top but Azaryan is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's eleven minutes gone in the round. Lee controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Lee is fighting to break Azaryan's control of his arms but Azaryan is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Azaryan looking for a sweep. Not yet Azaryan, not yet. Azaryan controls Lee momentarily but Lee frees himself.
That's twelve minutes gone in the round. Lee content to stall in guard here. Azaryan is trying to hold Lee in close to prevent damage but Lee has managed to pass into half guard.
That's thirteen minutes gone in the round. Lee controlling the action here. Azaryan is holding on to half guard well. Lee stalling. Azaryan is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Lee wants to control the pace but Azaryan is squirming around nicely. Lee controlling the position easily from mount.
