This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the lightweight division. Introducing today's competitors. And in the blue corner, fighting out of New York, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 0 losses; Miyamoto Musashi! The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Aafke Stam and Radbod Blank.
The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way. No luck with that takedown attempt from Jinglehimer. Jinglehimer tries to close the distance and clinch up but Musashi swats him away and circles back towards the center. Jinglehimer fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Musashi drives through and clinches with Jinglehimer against the cage.
Jinglehimer wants to take the fight to the mat but Musashi manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Johann Jinglehimer. That's going to take a lot out of him. Musashi ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Musashi no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Jinglehimer passes into half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jinglehimer is working for a submission of some sort.

Jinglehimer extends the arm and Musashi is forced to tap!
