This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the lightweight division. Introducing today's competitors. And in the blue corner, fighting out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 4 wins and 1 losses; Jakob Rolf! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Robert Twigg and George Francis.
The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Rolf darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Let's hope that Rolf has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Galvao tries to lock up and control but Rolf gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Rolf controlling from the full mount. Rolf's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Rolf tries to take his opponent's back but Galvao turns with him and manages to move into guard on the top.
