Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Walter Taylor (ranked 4728 p4p, 24928 weight class) and Jeremy Clarkson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jeremy Clarkson is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Jeremy Clarkson!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, James Glass and William Gold.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Clarkson wants to clinch up but Taylor keeps it at a distance.

Clarkson gets caught napping as Taylor dives in and scores a takedown. Clarkson manages to retain guard.

Taylor leaves Clarkson with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Clarkson breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Clarkson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Taylor paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Taylor tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Clarkson defends well and Taylor ends up having to push Clarkson into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

We've been informed that Clarkson has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.

Clarkson jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Taylor walks away with a smile on his face. Clarkson gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Clarkson shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Taylor eats them both and turns towards Clarkson to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Clarkson wants to clinch up but Taylor keeps it at a distance.

Clarkson gets control of Taylor's arms and successfully pulls guard. Clarkson will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

That was a close round but I would say that Walter Taylor will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Taylor wants to free his trapped foot but Clarkson is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Taylor thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Walter Taylor overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Taylor frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Clarkson is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Poor strikes thrown by Taylor there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

Taylor stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Taylor wants it to stay on the feet.

Clarkson moves into the clinch.
Taylor is pressed up against the cage. Clarkson has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Taylor down to the mat. Taylor avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Taylor will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Clarkson up against the cage.

Taylor goes for a double leg but Clarkson avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Clarkson continues to drive forward.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Taylor throws a sloppy strike and Clarkson has hooked up an armbar on the loose arm! He's turned and extended fully! Taylor is forced to tap! Great BJJ from Clarkson!
