Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Slip Knot!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ronan Byrne!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Dillan Fox and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Byrne takes one on the button.
It looks like Ronan Byrne has been cut.
Knot misses with a looping right.
Knot throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Byrne sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Byrne throws out a counter right but Knot avoids it with no problem.
Knot drops Byrne with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Byrne looks back up at him and smiles so Knot waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Byrne is rocked!
Byrne circles to his right, straight into a beautiful hook by Knot. Byrne falls face first into the canvas - great knockout victory for Knot!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Slip Knot!
Slip Knot opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.
