Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Joseph Allen (ranked 3440 p4p, 2292 weight class) and Terry Silver (ranked 450 p4p, 325 weight class). Allen comes to the cage accompanied by Vigiliand - UFO. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 2 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Joseph Allen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Terry Silver! The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Gregory Folan and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Silver throws a poor cross that misses
and Allen counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Allen scoring with punches to the head and body. Allen in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Allen is looking to work some ground and pound but Silver has wrist control. Silver really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Allen. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Allen seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Silver utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Silver wants to stand but Allen is controlling the position. Allen chips away with some ground and pound. Silver looking to hit a scissor sweep but Allen is one step ahead there. Allen has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Allen postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Allen showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Allen postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
That's one minute gone in the round. Allen content to stall in guard here. Allen seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Silver for as long as he can get away with. Silver wants to sweep but no luck. Allen sitting in guard, not really doing much. Allen prevents Silver from getting back to his feet. Allen throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Allen working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Silver wants to stand and escape but Allen is having none of it. Silver pulls Allen in to control the position. Allen slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Allen has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Allen slips a jab from Silver. Terry Silver is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Silver feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Allens jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Allen takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Allen seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. Allen shoots in for a takedown but Silver shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Oooooh!!! Silver has knocked Allen down with a huge combo! Silver steps away and waves a wobbly Allen back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Allen is rocked! Allen slips a jab from Silver. Allen tries to counter with a takedown but Silver is quick to defend against it. Allen takes the fight into the clinch. Silver is trying to break the clinch but Allen has him pressed against the cage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Silver gets underhooks to prevent Allen's takedown attempt.
Silver pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Allen moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Silver lands with an overhand left. A punch combination from Silver misses. Allen changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Allen has his takedown stuffed and Silver counters with a crisp right hand that drops Allen! Silver lets Allen back up to his feet, looking for a finish! Oh Allen is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Joseph Allen. That's going to take a lot out of him. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Silver throws an overhand right that drops Allen like a sack of potatoes! Silver dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Terry Silver! Terry Silver was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
