Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bobby Dent (ranked 23742 p4p, 11336 weight class) and Trent Punchy (ranked 707 p4p, 692 weight class). Dent comes to the cage accompanied by Dr. Feelgood. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The judges for this bout are George Francis, Chris Downing and Daniel Franklin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Punchy fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Punchy scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Punchy displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Dent throws out the jab.
A looping hook to the body misses from Dent. Punchy does a little dance to reset his feet.
Punchy throws out a powerful jab.
Punchy shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Dent slips under a jab from Punchy.
A little feinted left hand from Dent on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Punchy throws a shot from downtown. Dent moves away and avoids it.
Punchy lands with a hook. Dent tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Punchy throws a body punch but Dent moves out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Dent decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Punchy is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Dent pulls his head out easily.
Dent is controlling the pace.
Punchy wants to improve his position but Dent is controlling well.
Dent slows the pace down in half guard.

Dent decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Punchy misses with a body shot.

Punchy shoots in and gets a takedown into Dent's guard.
Punchy preventing the sweep.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dent seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Punchy throws an elbow that misses. Dent uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Punchy's guard. Nice move by Dent!

Dent is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Punchy is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Dent defends well.
Dent engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.

Punchy wants to hit a sweep here but Dent passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Punchy there!
Dent takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Dent prevents Punchy from getting the reversal.
Dent controlling the pace for now.
Punchy bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Punchy throws a sloppy strike and Dent has hooked up an armbar on the loose arm! He's turned and extended fully! Punchy is forced to tap! Great BJJ from Dent!
