Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 30 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mark Lesnar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, John Amery!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Gwen Towbar and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Amery rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Lesnar moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Amery gets tackled into the cage by Lesnar. Lesnar maintains the clinch.
Amery jumps guard.
Lesnar avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Lesnar postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Amery is looking for a triangle but Lesnar pushes his legs off easily.
Lesnar lands a couple of digs.
Amery throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Lesnar escapes and throws Amery's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Amery tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Lesnar wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Amery is not content to let Lesnar control the position.
Amery is trying to improve his position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lesnar working the ground and pound from side control.
Lesnar cracks Amery with an elbow. That is naaassty.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lesnar cracks Amery with a big right hand but Amery just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Amery tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Lesnar tries to advance to mount but Amery denies him.
Lesnar is looking to take a break and control but Amery is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Amery is trying to get back to half guard.
Amery is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Lesnar off and has taken his back!
Lesnar trying to control the hands but Amery won't let him.
Lesnar is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Amery looking for the choke but no joy.
Amery is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Lesnar has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Amery has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Lesnar taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Amery doesn't care though - he's delighted!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). John Amery!
