These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 6 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jermaine Ferret!
The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Peter Branson and Winston Alpacca.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ferret misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Boxer misses with a body kick.
Boxer is looking to clinch.
Ferret unleashes a big counter combination but Boxer bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Boxer throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Ferret.

Boxer has Ferret up against the cage in a clinch.

Ferret pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Boxer wants to clinch.
Boxer keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
James Boxer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ferret throws a right and a left that Boxer avoids nicely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Boxer throws a combination. Ferret tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

Boxer gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Ferret looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Ferret pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Boxer drives through and clinches with Ferret against the cage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Ferret prevents Boxer from breaking the clinch.
Ferret lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Boxer backwards.

Ferret keeps control of Boxer as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Ferret lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Ferret blocks a body shot from Boxer.
Ferret lands a shot to the body.
Boxer wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Ferret lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
Ferret working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Ferret misses with a punch to the body.
Ferret works on Boxer's body with a couple of short punches.
Ferret throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Boxer is breathing heavily.
Nice body punch from Ferret - that landed with a thud.
A short uppercut from Ferret.
Ferret pushes Boxer back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Ferret lands a right hand that snaps the head of Boxer backwards.

Boxer is rocked!
Ferret lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Boxer.
Oh Boxer is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Ferret creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Boxer's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Boxer drops to his knees and Ferret pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:08 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jermaine Ferret!
