Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Juju Chavez (ranked 3822 p4p, 4149 weight class) and Reza Khojastehpour (ranked 207 p4p, 226 weight class). Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Juju Chavez! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Reza Khojastehpour! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Percy O'Donnell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Khojastehpour lands a high kick!
Juju Chavez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. No joy there for Chavez, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Chavez throws a right and a left that both miss. Chavez throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Khojastehpour moves in looking to clinch but Chavez pushes him off. Chavez appears to be looking for a big counter. Khojastehpour closes the distance and lands a one-two. Khojastehpour doesn't manage to clinch there - Chavez circles away.
Khojastehpour comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Chavez throws a right and a left that both miss. Khojastehpour gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Chavez is trying to pull guard but Khojastehpour has him pressed against the cage. Khojastehpour escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Khojastehpour throws a right hand that Chavez ducks under and follows up with a left that Chavez also avoids with ease. Khojastehpour tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Chavez drops down looking for a counter takedown but Khojastehpour sprawls and moves away. A punch combination from Chavez misses. Khojastehpour does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Khojastehpour has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight. Chavez on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Khojastehpour delivers a nice body kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Khojastehpour misses with a takedown attempt - Chavez sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Khojastehpour moves into the clinch successfully.
Our sources have told us that Chavez has been working on his elbows in the gym. A right hand to the body from Khojastehpour.
Khojastehpour has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Chavez after a bit of a struggle. Khojastehpour is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Chavez to keep the fight standing. Juju Chavez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Reza Khojastehpour. Chavez working aggressively here.
Khojastehpour tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Chavez just stands there and leans against the cage. Khojastehpour jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Chavez walks away with a smile on his face. Khojastehpour gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Chavez throws a body punch but Khojastehpour moves out of range. Chavez swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Khojastehpour throws a fast counter high kick but Chavez manages to duck under it in time.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Chavez fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Khojastehpour throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Chavez's head. Khojastehpour throws a series of punches but Chavez avoids them all with ease. Khojastehpour throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Chavez changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Khojastehpour tries to avoid it but Chavez manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Khojastehpour to the ground. Khojastehpour escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Chavez just misses with a punch to the body.
Khojastehpour moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! A head kick misses from Khojastehpour. Chavez gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Khojastehpour counters with a one-two to the body. Khojastehpour slips a jab and a cross from Chavez.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Khojastehpour - that will leave a mark!

Khojastehpour is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own. Khojastehpour rushes Chavez and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Khojastehpour drags the fight down to the ground.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Khojastehpour is looking to stand up but Chavez isn't so interested in that idea. Khojastehpour looking for a guillotine here but Chavez defends easily.
Chavez passes into half guard. Khojastehpour wants to improve his position but Chavez is controlling well.
Khojastehpour has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Chavez is working away from the top position though. Khojastehpour is trying to stand back up but Chavez is controlling him
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Chavez is trying to control the action in half guard but Khojastehpour is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Khojastehpour tries to roll over but Chavez keeps him under control. Chavez is controlling the pace.
Chavez prevents Khojastehpour from improving his position. Chavez is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Reza Khojastehpour dominated that round. That's time! Chavez's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Khojastehpour throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Khojastehpour moves out of range of the leg kick from Chavez. A nice combination there by Khojastehpour.
Khojastehpour tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Chavez paws at him with a jab and circles away. Chavez scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Chavez works his way into full mount! Chavez seems to be looking to move to his opponent's back but Khojastehpour is holding on tight.
Khojastehpour tries to hold on but Chavez pushes him away. Chavez landing shots from mount. Khojastehpour really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Chavez. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Chavez is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Khojastehpour is surviving well by controlling Chavez's body position as best he can. Chavez takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Chavez trying to control but Khojastehpour is having none of it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chavez with the ground and pound from mount. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Chavez controlling from mount. Chavez is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Chavez extends the arm and Khojastehpour is forced to tap!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:46 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Juju Chavez! Juju Chavez spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
