Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Misalchicha Montreal (ranked 2486 p4p, 4370 weight class) and Mason Marmot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Misalchicha Montreal ! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Mason Marmot ! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Dirk Anderson and Michael Johnstone.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Montreal shoots in for a takedown but Marmot shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Marmot looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Marmot shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Montreal defends it nicely. Marmot has taken the fight to the clinch.
Marmot tries a body shot but Montreal blocks it.

Marmot really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Montreal . If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Montreal looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. You can see the frustration on Marmot 's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Montreal wants to finish this one by submission but Marmot is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Montreal . Marmot is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Marmot is looking to improve his position but Montreal isn't that keen on the idea. Montreal looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.

He has the arm isolated but Marmot is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Misalchicha Montreal dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Montreal . Montreal looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Montreal scores with a takedown into Marmot 's guard. Montreal trying to control but Marmot is working from the bottom. Marmot can't keep his opponent in guard - Montreal advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Marmot is looking for a sweep. Montreal is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Montreal is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Marmot is just riding it out for now. Montreal eventually gives up the hold. Montreal is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Montreal seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Marmot does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Montreal seems to be looking for submissions.
Marmot is not content to let Montreal control the position. Montreal is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Marmot can do to turn this around?
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Montreal is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Marmot is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Montreal passes to full mount! Montreal is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Marmot is forced to tap! Great finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:38 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Misalchicha Montreal ! Misalchicha Montreal decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
