Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 36 - 27 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dom Cruz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 22 - 11 - 0, fighting out of London, My Time!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Robert Douchet and Steve Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Time stuffs the takedown attempt from Cruz. Cruz gets slowly back to his feet.
Time swings for the body but Cruz moves out of range.

Cruz rushes Time and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Cruz wants a takedown but no success here.

Time is fighting off a takedown attempt but Cruz is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Time to the mat. Time regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Time pushes Cruz off and gets back to his feet.
Time throws the kick towards the body but Cruz avoids it.
Cruz closes this distance looking for a takedown but Time circles away.
It seemed like Time was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dom Cruz. That's going to take a lot out of him.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Cruz slips a nice elbow through Time's hands, connecting with Time's forehead.
Cruz stops Time from getting back to his feet.
Cruz content to control rather than advance.
Time looks like he's trying to stand up.
Cruz is trying to control the action in half guard but Time is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Cruz is pressing down on Time's thigh, looking to free his foot. Time is holding on for now.

Time throws a nice looking combination but Cruz bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Cruz was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
My Time is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Cruz scores with a crisp jab that stopped Time in his tracks.

Cruz takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

and Cruz counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Cruz.
Cruz passes Time's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Time is not content to let Cruz control the position.
Cruz is nestled in close to Time, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Time pushes Cruz off and gets back to his feet.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Cruz throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Cruz throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Time's waist but Time gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Cruz off to one side.
Cruz throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Cruz wants to clinch
and Time counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Cruz throws a leg kick
letting Time counter with a right hand.

Cruz is rocked!

Cruz shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Time is trying to defend but Cruz finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Time has hold of Cruz's hands but Cruz slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Time won't allow Cruz to pass to mount.

Time pushes Cruz off and gets back to his feet.
Time throws a hook but Cruz blocks it.
Time swings for the body but Cruz moves out of range.
Cruz throws a front kick aimed at Time's knee but Time avoids it well.
Cruz tries to clinch but Time moves away
letting Time counter with a right hand.
Oh Cruz is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Cruz tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Time counters with a body kick that stops Cruz in his tracks momentarily.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but My Time will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.

A combination from Cruz does no damage.
Cruz seems to have got his legs back now.
A lazy left from Time finds it's target.
Time fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Cruz to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Cruz looks to clinch but Time throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Cruz taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:13 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). My Time!
My Time bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
