Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jurumin Silva (ranked 1859 p4p, 2826 weight class) and Jerome Winters (ranked 237 p4p, 338 weight class). Winters has chosen Avatar - Colossus as his entrance music. Jerome Winters will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jurumin Silva! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jerome Winters! The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Roosa Järviläinen and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Winters rushes Silva and presses him up against the cage. Winters manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Winters wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Silva controls from within his opponent's guard. Silva drops back looking for a leg! Winters is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Winters manages to kick Silva off! Silva jumps back into Winters's guard. Winters working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Silva. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Winters has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Silva is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position. Silva lands with a light punch inside. Silva prevents Winters from breaking the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Silva lands a body punch in the clinch. Winters has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Silva clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Winters lands shots from the back. You can see the frustration on Silva's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Silva turns into Winters and is now in his guard.

This has been an exciting period of action! Silva passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Winters! The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Silva takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Silva seems to be looking to move to his opponent's back but Winters is holding on tight.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Silva content just to control the position here. Silva trying to control but Winters is having none of it. We've been informed that Winters has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight. Silva wants to finish this one by submission but Winters is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Silva. Winters is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Silva wants to control the pace but Winters is squirming around nicely. Silva is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Winters has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Winters! Silva seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.

Silva has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Winters is working away from the top position though. Silva actively working from the bottom here. Silva uses his free foot to push down on Winters's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Winters. Silva connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
