Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Warran Peace (ranked 2377 p4p, 4241 weight class) and Nik Snow (ranked 241 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Warran Peace!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 25 - 16 - 4, fighting out of Amsterdam, Nik Snow!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Radbod Blank and Aafke Stam.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Peace looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Snow scores with a hook.
Peace throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Snow's waist but Snow gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Peace off to one side.
Snow throws a counter combo.
Snow scores with a sloppy right hand. Peace should have avoided that one.

Snow displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Peace.
Peace takes one to the chin there.
Snow's coach down at Clark's Champion's was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Snow's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

No joy there for Snow, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Peace shoots in for a takedown but Snow shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Peace changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Snow tries to avoid it but Peace manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Snow to the ground. Snow escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Snow lands a nice shot that snaps Peace's head back.
Snow bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
No luck for Peace with that takedown attempt.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Peace crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Snow - the referee stops the clock and Peace gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Snow. Peace manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Snow throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.

Peace dives in for a single leg takedown but Snow sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Peace with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Snow to score with a decent uppercut.

Peace's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Snow connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Peace scrambles back to his feet.

Snow gets caught napping as Peace dives in and scores a takedown. Snow manages to retain guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Peace wants to control from the top but Snow keeps moving.

Peace is working Snow over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Snow looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.

Peace postures up in Snow's guard and throws a big left but Snow blocks it.
Peace loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Peace looking to sit in guard and control but Snow gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Snow tries to free his leg and advance position but Peace is retaining full guard.

Snow's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Snow must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.

Snow lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Peace looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Snow is fending him off so far but Peace persists. Nope, Snow circles away and we're back to standing.
Peace takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Snow leaves Peace with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Snow lands a jab.
Snow throws a right and a left that both miss.
Peace tries to counter with a takedown but Snow is quick to defend against it.
Snow scores with a head kick.
A nice inside leg kick there by Snow. That's going to slow Peace down.

Peace will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Snow fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Peace.

Snow paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

Peace is rocked!
Snow drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Peace right on the button. Peace goes down! Snow follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Snow gets the win via TKO!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Nik Snow!
